So, here's a back-to-school blog post.
Another school year has yet to come and for some, well I think basically all of us think, this is one of those times where you feel excited to go back but also don't hate the fact that you're coming back. We all get anxious and wonder what you'd do this year. Some have their friends transferring to different schools, some are still adjusting, some are still heartbroken from their crushes graduating (haha), some are still not sure who they are, and some are just not even ready for another school year. So this blog post is dedicated to all of you.
We all know that life in middle school is tough. It's when you start to discover who you are and what you actually want to become. At this time, you probably feel so pressured from all of the things around you. Probably when your peers find out what they want to do with their lives and you're still stuck there wondering why you can't teleport. Yeah, it happens. The key is, not to worry! We all go through that phase where we feel like we'll never find what we want to be or what we want to do. Just stop worrying about it. If you keep worrying about what you'll be in the future, you won't enjoy what's there in front of you. You just have to keep exploring different things. And if you find that you don't like doing something, you continue to find whatever until you finally feel like you are satisfied and happy with what you're doing. You will not get told what you will be in the future, it just happens. It's a long process but, I can assure you it will be all worth it.
So this school year, just come as you are. You don't have to be a different person. Like, you don't have to have something new or change drastically over the summer. You don't have to do any of that. Just be you and have fun. You'll get there someday.
You may be transferee, a freshman, a sophomore, a junior, or a senior, it just doesn't matter. There are confident freshies, and awkward seniors! It doesn't matter how far you are or how long you've gone, what matters is the journey you took to get there. If you didn't enjoy it, then what's the point at all?
And I actually don't know if I made sense in this blog post, but yeah. Goodluck, everyone! Cheers to another school year! (nope? okay.) x
